Batting against a bowling machine: what to expect at Turbo Cricket

Most of us learnt cricket in a gully, arguing over LBW and chasing the ball into a neighbour's garden. Turbo Cricket keeps the batting and drops the chasing. You walk into an indoor net, pad up and face a bowling machine, one over at a time.
What is Turbo Cricket at The Pink Falcon?
Turbo Cricket is net practice with a cricket bowling machine, inside The Pink Falcon Jaipur. You bat; the machine bowls. Every session includes the bowling machine, a bat, gear and kit, and practice modes.
It is Jaipur's only indoor cricket net with a bowling machine, so your plan doesn't depend on the weather or on finding eleven people.
How fast does the bowling machine bowl?
The machine bowls at up to 160 km/h. It can also swing and spin the ball, so you can practise against the kind of delivery that keeps getting you out.
New to batting? Start with a gentle pace and build up over by over.
Play club cricket? Push the speed and work on swing or spin.
Here with friends? Agree on one setting and see who survives the most balls.

Who can play Turbo Cricket?
Kids: from 5 years old and 3.5 ft tall, with a helmet and pads on.
Families: parents and kids can take turns in the same session.
Friends: a 10-over session split between four people settles a lot of arguments.
Office teams: add it to a team outing in Jaipur alongside go-karting.
Do I need my own bat and pads?
No. Bring your own kit if you like it, or use ours. Helmets and pads are available, and the bat comes with the session.
Is Turbo Cricket the same as box cricket?
No. Box cricket is a team match in a small enclosed ground, with bowlers and fielders. Turbo Cricket is net batting against a machine, one batter at a time.
If your group wants batting practice and bragging rights, Turbo Cricket fits. If you want a full team match, a box cricket ground is the better booking.
What else can you do at The Pink Falcon Jaipur?
Most groups pair cricket with one or two other activities at the same venue:
Electric go-karting on a 450 m track with 13 turns and live lap timing.
Laser Tag in a neon-lit arena, 10 or 20 minutes.
Golf Simulator with swing analysis, 30 minutes.
Neon Splash, a UV-lit paint room, 30 minutes.
The Paddock Cafe, for fresh food made to order between sessions.
