Adventure places in Jaipur you can do in one afternoon

Here is what each activity involves, who it suits and what it costs. Prices are per person and include GST. Weekday prices apply Mon to Thu, weekend prices Fri to Sun.

1. Electric go-karting on a 450 m track

The Pink Falcon Jaipur is home to Rajasthan's first electric go-karting. Our track is 450 m long with 13 turns, half outdoor and half covered. Live timing puts every lap on the leaderboard, and each driver gets a race analysis sheet.

You don't need a driving licence. Every driver gets a safety briefing, a helmet and a 4-point seatbelt. Marshals (our track crew) manage the karts' speed controls for safety and run the race with a flag system. We have adult, kids' and twin-seater karts.

• 7 minutes: ₹699 weekdays, ₹799 weekends

• 11 minutes (a 4-minute and a 7-minute session): ₹1,099 weekdays, ₹1,199 weekends

• 14 minutes (two 7-minute sessions on the same day): ₹1,199 weekdays, ₹1,449 weekends

2. Laser Tag in a neon arena

Team up and play in an arena with obstacles and neon lights. You get a vest, a laser gun and a quick briefing, and a live score screen keeps the count. Pick classic deathmatch, capture the flag or zombie mode.

The arena rule is no running and no rough play. A 10-minute round costs ₹499 on weekdays and ₹599 on weekends. A 20-minute round costs ₹649 on weekdays and ₹749 on weekends.

3. Turbo Cricket against a bowling machine

Turbo Cricket puts you in an indoor net against a bowling machine that bowls at up to 160 km/h. Choose swing or spin and see how long you last. Bring your own kit or use ours; helmets and pads are available.

• 5 overs: ₹299 weekdays, ₹349 weekends

• 10 overs: ₹449 weekdays, ₹499 weekends

• 20 overs: ₹749 weekdays, ₹799 weekends

4. Golf Simulator with swing analysis

The Golf Simulator gives you 30 minutes of unlimited shots. A high-speed camera analyses your swing, and you can switch between the driving range and game modes. Golf clubs are included.

For 1 to 2 players, it's ₹549 per person on weekdays and ₹599 on weekends. Groups of 3 to 4 pay ₹449 per person on weekdays and ₹499 on weekends.

5. Neon Splash, the glowing paint room

Neon Splash is a UV-lit painting room. You drip, spill and swing a pendulum of paint across a canvas, then watch it glow. The paints are water-based, non-toxic and washable, and you get coveralls, a poncho and shoe covers.

A 30-minute session costs ₹799 on weekdays and ₹999 on weekends, with paints, canvas and brushes included. Add an extra canvas for ₹150, or a white T-shirt to paint for ₹350.

Who it suits

• Friend groups: race for the quickest lap, then settle the rematch at Laser Tag.

• Families: kids' karts take drivers from age 5. Every driver must be at least 4 ft tall. Laser Tag, Turbo Cricket, the Golf Simulator and Neon Splash need a minimum height of 3.5 ft.

• Students: weekday prices (Mon to Thu) and the weekday afternoon offer below make an afternoon go further.

• Access: the venue is wheelchair accessible.

• What to wear: closed-toe shoes for karting. Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs and heels aren't allowed on the track, and neither are loose sarees, dupattas or long scarves.

• Walk in or book: walk-ins are welcome, but weekends and holidays get busy. Groups of 10 or more need to book ahead.

• Food: The Paddock Cafe, our own kitchen, makes food fresh to order, with freshly brewed coffee and tea, shakes and coolers. On F1 race weekends, the cafe screens the race.
