how lap timing works at pink falcon : read your leaderboard like an f1 engineer
Watch an F1 race and the timing screen tells half the story. You can see who is quickest, who is closing the gap and who just lost a second in one corner. At The Pink Falcon, you get that same story about your own driving. This guide explains how go kart timing systems and a live leaderboard work at our two venues. It also shows you how to read your times like a race engineer.
The Pink Falcon has two venues with two different tracks. The Pink Falcon Jaipur races electric karts on a 450 m track. The Pink Falcon Gurugram (Gurgaon) runs India's first indoor Glo Karting on a 300 m neon track. Both time every lap.
HOW GO KART TIMING SYSTEMS AND A LIVE LEADERBOARD WORK
A timing system records the moment your kart crosses the line. The time between two crossings is one lap. With live timing, the screen updates as you drive so you can watch your name move during the race.
A few words make the whole screen easy to read:
Lap time: how long one full lap of the track took you.
Best lap: your quickest single lap in the session. This is the number most friend groups argue about.
Lap count:how many laps you finished. Lap counts are estimates and depend on the driver.
Consistency: how close your lap times are to each other. Steady drivers are often quicker over a whole session.
AT THE PINK FALCON JAIPUR: 450 M ,13 TURNS AND AN ANALYSIS SHEET
The Jaipur track is 450 m long with 13 turns, half outdoor and half covered. Every session has live lap timing and a leaderboard. Each driver also gets a race analysis sheet, so you leave with your numbers on paper.

Session lengths and prices per person, including GST:
7 minutes (about 8 to 14 laps): ₹699 Mon to Thu, ₹799 Fri to Sun
11 minutes (a 4-minute and a 7-minute session, about 14 to 20 laps): ₹1,099 Mon to Thu, ₹1,199 Fri to Sun
14 minutes (two 7-minute sessions on the same day, about 18 to 28 laps): ₹1,199 Mon to Thu, ₹1,449 Fri to Sun
The 11 and 14-minute options give you two goes. That makes them an easy way to test a change and see it on the sheet. Kids' karts take drivers from age 5, and every driver must be at least 4 ft tall.
Book online at [thepinkfalcon.com/book-online] or see the [Jaipur venue page](https://www.thepinkfalcon.com/jaipur).
AT THE PINK FALCON GURUGRAM (GURGAON): GLO KARTING ON A 300 M NEON TRACK
Glo Karting in Gurugram runs on a 300 m neon-lit track that glows under UV light. The venue is fully indoor and air-conditioned, about 100 m from Sikanderpur Metro. Your lap times show on the leaderboards and are emailed to you after the race.

Session lengths and prices, including GST:
7 minutes (about 18 to 25 laps) ₹799 Mon to Thu, ₹899 Fri to Sun
14 minutes (about 35 to 50 laps) ₹1,299 Mon to Thu, ₹1,499 Fri to Sun
42 minutes: ₹3,599 Mon to Thu, ₹4,199 Fri to Sun
Kids drive in Junior Mode. Drivers need to be at least 4 ft tall and up to 120 kg. After the race, try the F1 Simulators. One race is 5 laps on any track you choose, from ₹349 Mon to Thu.
Gurugram has no online booking page yet, so call +91 93159 88586 to reserve your slot. See the [Gurugram venue page](https://www.thepinkfalcon.com/gurgaon) for more.
Compare your times only with drivers on the same track. A Jaipur lap and a Gurugram lap are different distances, so the numbers don't line up.
READ YOUR SHEET LIKE A RACE ENGINEER
An F1 engineer looks for patterns. You can do the same with your own times in five steps.
1. Find your best lap. That's your benchmark for next time.
2. Look at your first two laps. They're usually slower while you learn the track. A big gap means you warmed up fast.
3. Check how close your laps are. If they jump around a lot, steadiness will save you more time than bravery.
4. Find your one slow lap Think back. Did you brake late, miss a corner or get stuck behind someone?
5. Set one target Pick one change for your next session and see if your best lap drops.
FIVE WAYS TO FIND TIME ON YOUR NEXT RACE
Try one of these in your next session, then check whether your best lap drops.
Listen to the briefing. The marshals explain the flags, and knowing them keeps your race smooth.
Brake before the corner. Slow down in a straight line, then turn. Braking mid-turn costs time.
Look where you want to go. Your hands follow your eyes, so look at the corner exit early.
Steer smoothly. Sharp, jerky turns scrub off speed.
Give other karts space.Bumping other karts or barriers isn't allowed, and it costs you time anyway.
TURN IT INTO A GROUP CHALLENGE
Book your whole group together, so everyone drives the same track on the same day. Then compare best laps on the leaderboard. Whoever finishes last buys the coffee at The Paddock Cafe, our own cafe at both venues.
Both venues are open 12 PM to 10 PM, every day. You don't need a driving licence, and every driver gets a safety briefing and a helmet first.
